SILK - SCREENING
There are a lot of process before making a print; the screen had a coat screen with photo sensitive emulsion. This should be done in an area not well lit and while emulsion is drying keep screen out of light.

I got a A4 transparent sheet and used black paper that prevents the UV light to get through. I created a geometric shape using squares and played around with the composition.

The black template of my design blocks out the UV light which the screen shows a yellow marking of my design that allows the ink to go through.
I taped the four sides on the silk screen using duck-tape. This is to prevent ink from running into the edges of the screen.

I got a transparent sheet and place it outside of screen with clear tape. I placed tape to make a frame at the corner so it helps me to locate my design from the screen. To make sure it's in the same position.
I then print my design onto A3 plain paper which I used squeegee to spread the paint across the screen downwards. I made sure to use slight pressure to the squeegee in a straight up and down angle while pulling across the screen, so that I can get the desired result of colours that I am using for my design.
This are the colours I chose which are black, yellow and at the third image I layered the two colours together and created more of a complex design.
The combination of the two colours made the outcome unique and interesting to look at, while at the same time my design looks like it's coming out of the paper.
If I were to do it again, I can play around with the colours and composition more.
