TO CREATE A 'STILL LIFE' ANIMATION
LINE TRACE BACK:
To create my animation work, I needed the following items which are, a peg bar that holds the paper in place, animation paper and a field chart of 16:9 proportions.

The object that I've chosen was my headphone. The first thing I did was placing five animation papers to the peg bar. I then got the field chart and placed 7 by 7 frame on the first animation paper. The paper that has the frame on it, plays an important role in the whole process for my animation work.

I drew an outline of my object within the frame without tone or shadow which the idea was to do an outline only. Furthermore, I used the light-box and placed my first drawing at the top of a new animation paper at the bottom and re-trace the outline of the object. Altogether I got the same image from every five pages.
The idea was to create a 1 second (12fps) sequence through my five drawings. I went to the DragonFrame software and set up the camera to take photographs from my traceback exercise. Also, I went back to the animation paper with the frame and placed it at the correct position at the viewpoint camera and making sure it's in the right position while looking at the computer screen at the same time. I then taped the peg bar behind to make sure it will stay in place without moving. During taking photographs, I shot two times for each page towards 42 slides. I created a 1-second sequence and exported it after.
FILL BOIL:
I created several background from the line trace back. I combined the two techniques together; trace back and boil techniques.

The process in doing so, I got a new animation paper with peg bar and created three different colours in each page such as in order; blue, yellow with black and red with orange and yellow. The media I used was oil pastel as it's easy to go over the background while carefully going around the outline of the object.
I did the same procedure by the same process using DragonFrame software. I captured 3 times in each page towards 48 slides. I also created a 1-second sequence and exported it after.
Final process:
For this final process, the idea was to merge both techniques together with colours and details inside of my headphone design. I used the DragonFrame software again and created with a new scene and folder, named it 'background design 2'. I then saved the document. I done the same process from the previous line trace back and fill boil. I merged them together and created it into one outcome. After from step by step of procedure in DragonFrame software, I needed to export it into gif.
(FILE > EXPORT MOVIE > HIGH RESOLUTION JPG >16-9/1920-1080 _ MP4 )
(EXPORT > SAVE THE FILE > DOCUMENT)
Overall, I find all the design in different techniques successful because it creates movement within the role of using outline and changing backgrounds. It's very satisfying to look at especially the fill boil technique because of the changing colours. The object that I've chosen was headphone because it represent me as an ongoing person and the love of music.
